Imaging systems across space, science, security and industrial markets demand performance and reliability levels beyond those available from conventional image sensors. Teledyne e2v has over 40 years’ experience in designing, manufacturing and delivering imaging requirements, including CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor), CCD (Charge Coupled Device) and EM (Electron Multiplying) image sensors, arrays, camera modules, subsystems and line scan cameras.
These operate across the electromagnetic spectrum from X-ray, through ultraviolet and visible light, to near infrared. Our expertise has resulted in our involvement in some of the highest profile imaging projects, including being the eyes for NASA’s Hubble space telescope and providing the largest sensor array (106 sensors making a 1 GPixel array) for ESA’s GAIA mission to map the Milky Way. Meanwhile on the ground, our high speed industrial cameras are helping industrial inspection systems measure flat screen TV performance faster and more accurately than ever before.
Teledyne e2v’s unique approach involves listening to the market and application challenges of customers and partnering with them to provide innovative standard, semi-custom or fully custom imaging solutions, bringing increased value to their systems.
