e2v Gas Sensor Evaluation Kits

Our evaluation kits offer a low cost way of getting started quickly in gas sensing. Using an evaluation kit can save months of development time and cost by providing a fully working PCB and software to drive and monitor the gas sensors of your choice. 

Each kit is microprocessor controlled with a USB interface and comes complete with PC application software on CD for data logging and set-up. A universal mains adapter and USB lead is also provided. Gas sensors should be ordered separately.

Evaluation Kits are available for:

  • Metal Oxide Semiconductor Gas Sensors (MICS-EK1)
  • Infrared Gas Sensors (IR-EK2)
  • Pellistor and Electrochemical Sensors (ECVQ-EK3)  

MICS-EK1: Evaluation Kit for Metal Oxide Semiconductor Gas Sensors

  • Operates two 4 pin leaded sensorsMEMs evaluation kit
  • Operates one 10 pin surface mount sensor (single or dual) with additional adapter PCB (order separately)
  • Automatic measuring of sensor resistance changes
  • Automatic load resistor switching
  • Settable heater drive levels
  • Ambient temperature monitoring
  • Provision for humidity sensor (customer fit)
  • Expansion header for additional applications


Accessories 


MICS-SMD-PCB5A set of 5 adapter PCBs to allow a 10 pin surface mount sensor (single or dual) to be used with the MICS-EK1 Evaluation Kit. Each board is pinned on the underside for plugging into the two sensor sockets on the Evaluation Kit. On the topside are pads for the user to solder down a 10 pin surface mount gas sensor.

METAL-OXIDE-KIT
A set of 3 Metal Oxide Gas Sensors for evaluation and experimentation: MICS-2610 (Ozone), MICS-2710 (NO2) and MICS-5521 (CO/VOC).
