e2v supplies a range of space qualified CMOS and CCD imaging sensors for use in defence satellites and space vehicles, missile seeker technologies, area image sensors for military video rate applications and area and linear devices for high resolution low noise surveillance purposes.

e2v’s L3Vision™ is an advanced Electron Multiplying (EM) imaging technology that offers low light performance in excess of any other imaging sensor including intensified imaging sensors. Its main area of application is in photon-starved situations, such as night-time surveillance and it brings the ability to operate across the full range of light levels which vastly increases system flexibility. For surveillance, true 24-hour capability is now possible in one sensor. The L3Vision™ single surveillance solution can be adapted for use on land, at sea or in the air.
