Main responsibility:
Implement a rigorous methodology within e2v which guarantees the total conformity of export operations, in compliance with the regulations for our organization in France and in the USA.
Produce and organize procedures and processes which ensure the company remains compliant with regard to the legislation.
Main tasks:
Ensure the compliance of export contracts in direct collaboration with the Global Export Compliance Manager UK, the business managers and project leaders. Help them in reaching their targets in compliance with current legislation.
Establish and ensure the correct application of a process to identify and process requests for French export licences.
Establish regular contact with the French administrative authorities.
Regularly provide the list of products and export requests to the French Administration.
Gain a good knowledge of the work and use the ENOBIOS system for sending requests for prior agreement.
Draw up CIEEMG authorizations and requests for prior agreement along with all forms necessary.
Initiate the commitment and non-re-exportation procedures with the foreign embassies in France and obtain them.
Draw up requests for AEMG licences.
Ensure that all existing products and new products are correctly recorded in SAP as products compliant with export regulations.
Ensure that all the required conditions are in place for the physical or non-physical transfer of regulated technologies.
Train company employees in different aspects of the export regulations if necessary.
Put in place working procedures and instructions and keep them up to date in compliance with the regulations.
Ensure that the general terms and conditions of the export licences are applied and up-to-date.
Obtain the information necessary for establishing the end use of all programmed exports as soon as possible. Bring any problems encountered to the attention of the Global Export Compliance Manager.
Provide permanent support to company employees and keep them informed of all questions relating to export and international exchanges. Bring any problems which arise to the attention of the GECM.
Put effort into finding solutions to problems encountered by the purchasing and sales departments, operational and marketing units and all other activity sectors.
Provide support and information to company employees with regard to any question relating to French or American export regulations.
Draw up and ensure the correct application of a regulatory and effective process for identifying and handling any US-regulated component or technology to ensure full compliance with export and re-export legislation from the US to France.
Provide training to employees on all aspects of American export regulations if necessary.
Draw up and keep updated all procedures and instruction manuals relating to American export regulations.
Essential knowledge and experience
French export regulations
USA export regulations
Knowledge of the various departments of the DGA and the DAS
Knowledge of military hardware and hardware for double use and the classification procedures
Knowledge of the procedure for drawing up export licences
Knowledge of ENOBIOS
Significant experience required.
Fluent French and English.
