Head of Operations
Reporting straight to out newly appointed Group Operations Director, you’ll drive the business forward by identifying, promoting and delivering continuous improvement and raising levels of customer satisfaction as well as overall profitability. You’ll spread empowerment, understanding and knowledge of operations and business goals from the shop floor outwards. You’ll create the flexibility to change from single piece to batch flow production whenever appropriate, using buffers and Kan Bans to maintain predictable, level output.
Extensive experience at senior operational management level in a complex/technical manufacturing environment will be essential, during which time you must have introduced continuous improvement, TQM and autonomous teams. You must also have the interpersonal and communication skills to build key relationships with business units, sales managers and supply chain operations.
