e2v is a leading designer, developer and manufacturer of specialised components and subsystems. e2v’s products enable some of the world's leading companies to deliver innovative systems for medical and science, aerospace and defence, and industrial and commercial applications.
Due to continued business growth we are now seeking to recruit several Assembly Operators to perform the mechanical assembly of high technology devices in either one of our product groups - electronic tubes or sensors and semiconductors.
You will assemble high technology products as outlined by engineering drawings and formal manufacturing instructions. Dexterity and the ability to manipulate small complex parts repeatedly and with precision are essential.
You will be self-motivated and possess the desire, determination and ability to always do a job well. You will be able to work alone as well as part of a team and follow written and verbal instructions. You will be able to communicate well within a team and take a diligent approach to quality issues. A good level of literacy and numeracy are essential. Previous experience in a similar role would be a distinct advantage.
You will take a flexible approach to work and will be prepared to move into different areas of the business as required. Applicants must be willing to work shifts if necessary.
