ANALOGUE DESIGNER
 DEVELOPMENT OF IMAGE SENSORS
BU MIEI (Medical Industrial Emerging Imaging)
 
Main responsibility:
 
Attached to the manager of the design division of the image sensor development team within BU MIEI, the candidate will design analogue units of imaging circuits using CCD or CMOS technology in compliance with specifications (cost, quality, deadline, performance).
 
Main tasks:
 
o       Take part in evaluating the feasibility of new projects and in producing technical and financial proposals
o       Take part in risk analyses and design reviews, document them
o       Take part in producing the specifications for units in collaboration with the technical design manager
o       Design units (architecture, modelling, simulation, layout, validation, testability, ruggedness of design) in compliance with specifications in collaboration with the members of the project team
o       Define the constraints and validate the impact of the layout of the chip and packaging on the electrical and electro-optic performances of the image sensor
o       Provide technical support to characterization, marketing and the hotline
o       Produce design documentation relating to units in compliance with the development process
o       Contribute to the development of the e2v's knowledge and expertise (Project feedback, Patent rights, Training, etc.)
Profile
    • Engineering training or Bac + 5 (~Master's degree) in electronics or microelectronics
    • Specialisation in analogue electronics
    • Behaviour of electronic components
    • Semi-conductor physics
    • Minimum professional experience 3 / 4 years in Imagery and Device Engineering desirable  
 
Knowledge and expertise
    • Knowledge and understanding of the technologies used
    • Expertise in the use of design, simulation, modelling and layout (Cadence) software tools
    • Knowledge and understanding of the development flow and the impact of the choices made on the ability of products to be manufactured.
    • English:level 7 (Operational)
